HOME EVANGELISM AND PRAYER GUIDE FOR ERITREA SHORT AND BRIEF LETTER, APRIL, 2024.
Dear prayer partners of our Home Evangelism and Prayer Guide for Eritrea, I greet you in the matchless Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Home Evangelism and all our prayer partners will rejoice in the Lord Jesus Christ for surely, He has risen, He is alive and the tomb is empty. We thank God for the many prayers that are answered and still being answered. We prayed for peace with Ethiopia, and for sanctions to be lifted, still, we pray for reconciliation and for Churches to be opened. Every prayer we prayed was a prayer of faith. This year the resurrection day is celebrated on April. The gap between the Gregorian calendar and the Julian calendar is not much. On 31st of March is Easter for the Gregorian calendar while, on May, 5th is Easter for Julian calendar. I want to wish all those who celebrate with the Gregorian and Julian calendars the joy of the Lord to overwhelm you at Jesus’ resurrection day and afterward. Unlike other years this time, there is a big gap between the easter celebrations. The Julian calendar stays more than a month to celebrate easter.
Remember: Prophets are alerting of rampant persecution yet to come. Please pray for Ethiopia. The freedom of worship in Ethiopia has been unquenchable fire over the years. The enemy wanted to persecute Churches. Pray God to block the schemes of the enemy and live the Churches alone. Refuse every scheme of the enemy in the continent as it concerns the Body of Christ.
The Bible registers this: 1 “After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. 2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.” (Matth.28: 1-2) Pray and give Glory to the Most High God. The tomb is empty. Christ has risen. He is alive and we too are alive with him. Therefore, pronounce resurrection and life over every area you had no hope and especially with the worldwide pandemic disease called coronavirus and the fight in Ethiopia. We pray as such a time as this may God draw the hearts of the people in the world to Himself. It is not only affected through disease and death; it has affected the movement of everything in the world. Businesses are standing still. Traveling outside of every country is stopped. So, at such a time as this, we speak of life in its abundance in every aspect. In the national service speak life. In farming and harvesting speak good and plenty to be harvested. In the need of rain in season speak enough rain to enable us to plant and harvest plenty. In the need of health and peace likewise, speak healing and peace. In the cracked down marriage issues and in the conflict of the government and opposition parties and the Churches crack down speak reconciliation and freedom of worship. In every aspect of your needs speak out resurrection and life. Remember those who suffer from DIFFERENT KINDS OF SICKNESS LIKE CANCER AND HIV/AIDS and now the youth that are going through trauma and loss in Libya, in North Sudan, and Egypt. Remember also those who suffer from Ulcers, High Blood Pressure, Arthritis, and all kinds of sicknesses with names or without names, pronounce resurrection and life in their bodies.
“Our help is in the Name of Our LORD, the maker of heaven and earth.” (Ps. 124: 8) Thank you for your unfailing prayer for Eritrea, the government, the people of Eritrea, the Churches that are under rampant persecution, for families… etc, etc, etc. The Lord bless you all as you continue to pray more.
