PRAYER GUIDE FOR ERITREA JULY, 2020

“…. those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” Rom.8: 14

 HOME EVANGELISM AND PRAYER FOR

FOREIGNERS IN KENYA AND BEYOND

Thanks for your appreciation about Tigrigna prayer guide. I greet you in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and thanks for every information and prayers. Believe every prayer you prayed is a prayer of faith. The more the nearer the victory the more we pray so I am more pressing on to pass these prayer guide as to continue sharing the burdens of our nation Eritrea. “Arise, shine, Eritrea for your light has come and the glory of the LORD rises upon you”. Isa.60:1-2. Give thanks for Eritrea. The restoration of our nation and the body of Christ is more near than ever. Pray for every family member, society, the body of Christ and the nation as a whole. Eritrea needs prayers the spirit of communism is operating in our land.Pray for those who are in exile (the dry bones in the valley) the Holy Spirit may sweep over their life in prayer, every curse of struggle to be broken from their life and Idolatry to be rooted out from Eritrea. Starting from colonialists up to now Eritrea encountered difficulties, our gold, bronze, telephone cable, electrical atmospheric transporter, companies, and individual’s properties, among others were taken. (Please get information on the internet and go to UN/US Sanctions on Eritrea Latest Chapter in a Long History of Injustice)   Pray for godly leadership in Eritrea, pray for restoration and seasonal rain not hailstone and plenty to be within the boundary. Refuse war, declare peace, demarcation of the border between Ethiopia and Eritrea, was done in the month of November, 2007 To God be the Glory. According to our president during ESAT interview on February, 2015, the old demarcation remains. There will be no new demarcation. But the fresh news on June 5, 2018 the Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed announced that Ethiopia will abide with the Cardinal Law that was signed in Algers without any condition. In reply to that President Isaias Afewerki said; on June 20, 2018, Eritrea will send delegates for peace talks. They agreed to end the matter in peace.Eritrea and Ethiopia agreed to remove their troops from the border and they are out of both sides. In the month of August 17, 2009 Eritrea is given a fine to pay USD10 million to Ethiopia. Remember the UN delegates had a meeting with Eritrean Officials on 2013 at Austria concerning land locked countries to access the sea. Now both agreed to open access to the Sea, rail ways, and road and air transport. Ethiopia refused to abide with the binding Cardinal Law they signed at Algiers before but now they responded positively. Pray for restoration, restitution, of everything, we had and we lost either by Ethiopia, or by the colonialist’s time claim every thing back to Eritrea. Remember the Eritrean whose bank account was freeze and their properties were destroyed or handed over to individuals. They do not know how to get their properties back. Some of them their properties are taken by individuals. It has been expected all the properties of all Eritrean to be return back to them by October, 2019, but still nothing is done. Ethiopians are vandalizing Eritrean properties in Badme. Pray God to vacate Ethiopians from the disputed land. The land is not yet given to Eritrea.

Pray and ask for God’s mercy and bring genuine repentance at all level. “For this is what the LORD says:- he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited- he says: –  “I am the LORD, and there is no other” Isa.45:  18;

Bring thanks giving for Eritrea, for the Lord our God had created it to be inhabited by the very own people of Eritrea and never remained desolate for God had mercy upon us and he ordained our boundary set for us. (Act.17: 26).

Glorify the Lord with me: “I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.  My soul will boast in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.  Glorify the Lord with me” (Ps.34: 1-3) Let us lift up his name together. The dead in their grave cannot praise the Lord. We, who say we are the living, rejoice in His name and glorify God, praise Him, Magnify Him, lift Him higher, higher, and higher. Give thanks to the Lord our God, for he kept us safe from all kinds of harms. Pray and give thanks to the Lord our God, for He shepherd us in a foreign countries. He saved us from evil murderers. He protected our bones from brokenness, our flesh from injuries, and kept us from loses of lives. Give thanks to the Lord for those brethren who have such a living testimonies. We know that we are partakers of the blessings that comes from giving mercy to others. Pray and forgive those people who went for demonstration in Ethiopia to stop the binding Law that had been signed by the two countries in Algiers from being actualized. Honorable President Isaias responded to what the Ethiopian prime minister has said. President Isaias said; on June 20, 2018 we will send delegates to Addis Ababa for peace talks and he did. We prayed and gave thanks for the wonderful reply given by our President. But our land is not yet at hand. We have unfinished case. Pray and ask God the border line to be replaced right on its place and our land to be in our hand.

Those that look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.  Those that look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them”. (Ps. 34: 4-7) Pray and give thanks with other Eritreans who had encounter such kind of assaults in Kenya or in any other countries, for the Lord has given their lives as a ransom to them. Give thanks to the Lord, for he shepherd us, He have heard our cry and answered us. Pray and ask God to give us favor in the eyes of the citizens. Pray for Africa and the other continents to be at peace and to be free from calamities.

July 3, 2020

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing”. (Ps.34: 8-9) Pray and ask God to tell the goodness of the Lord, for our soul had tested that the Lord is good, and praise Him in our worship places. Pray that always we will have the fear of God, and to appreciate one another as part of our daily life.

July 4, 2020

Those who seek the Lord lack no good thing: “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord”. (Ps. 34: 10-11) Pray and give thanks to God. The Lord is our shepherd; we shall not be in want. Pray and seek God in prayer daily. Give thanks to the Lord with gladness because we are in Him.

July 5, 2020

Seek peace and pursue it: “Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.” (Ps. 34: 12-14) Pray and ask God our mouth to be kept safe. Pray the people of God will not give a foothold for evil and lies.  Pray our tongues to be kept from evil and our lips from speaking lies. Pray believers to do good deeds, to seek peace and pursue it.

July 6, 2020

“The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth”. (Ps. 34: 15-16) Pray and give thanks to God for we have Him who hears our prayers, answers them and he wipes tears from our eyes. Pray and ask God His eyes to watch over Eritrean; His ears to be attentive to their cry. Pray God to turn his face against those who come to destroy us, to turn back their evil deeds to themselves.

July 7, 2020

“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit”. (Ps. 34: 17-18) Pray and give thanks to the Lord for He has heard our cry, He delivered us from all our troubles. Pray God to protect the Churches that are planted in exile foreign countries. Pray for the Churches that are planted in Diaspora God to protect them.

July 8, 2020

“A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken”. (Ps. 34: 10-20) No matter how high could be our trouble Pray and ask God to deliver us from them all. Pray God to protect our bones, to keep us healthy, to provide our needs whether we are imprisoned because of our faith or living in a foreign country.

July 9, 2020

“Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned”. (Ps. 34: 21) Pray and ask God those who hate us for nothing God to draw them near to Him and save them. Even though we hear the announcements of peace between Ethiopia and Eritrea concerning the border issue; we cannot forget that the Churches in Eritrea are still closed. The prisoners of faith are still behind the bars. We continue to remember the Churches and the prisoners of faith in prayer. Speak salvation over the ministers. We do not have any born again minister in the government ministries. Name the ministry in the government as you pray. Pray God’s righteousness to be reflected in every decision they make.

July 10, 2020

“The Lord redeems his servants; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him”. (Ps. 34: 21-22) Pray and give thanks to the Lord for His promises. Pray and ask God to redeem his servants. Pray God’s servants to be wise and to learn how to take refuge in God with their family members.

July 11, 2020

“Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me”. (Ps.35: 1) Pray and ask God to turn back every evil, fight, and war against those who fight us without cause. Many Eritreans who had left their properties in the hands of Agents in Ethiopia when they were deported pray them to get back everything. We hear their properties are sold by the agents. Others are taken by Ethiopians. Pray and ask God to fight for them and all of them to get back their properties.

July 12, 2020

Oh God; “Take up shield and buckler; arise and come to my aid. Brandish spear and javelin against those who pursue me. Say to my soul, “I am your salvation.” (Ps.35: 2-3) Pray and ask God to be our shield and buckler. Pray God to chastise those who pursue us and shut their way. Pray God to pronounce His sure foundation of our salvation, us to hear Him say to our soul, “I am your salvation” for this is our heritage. Pray God to redeem and protect the souls of the Eritrean believers whether in prison or in the places we live.

July 13, 2020

Oh God; “May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay.  May they be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the Lord driving them away;” (Ps.35: 4-5) God’s plan for his people is to live not die. Pray and ask God to deal with those who seek our lives. Pray them to be disgraced, to be put to shame, and to be turned back in dismay. Pray them to be blown out of our lives, our ministries, and out of our areas we live. Pray God with guardian angels to encompass around us. Pray God to drive out the wicked far away from around us.

July 14, 2020

Oh God what the enemies hid the net for my ruin; entangle them, may they fall into the pit, to their ruin: “may their path be dark and slippery, with the angel of the Lord pursuing them. Since they hid their net for me without cause and without cause dug a pit for me,  may ruin overtake them by surprise — May the net they hid entangle them, may they fall into the pit, to their ruin.” (Ps.35: 6-8) This is Spiritual warfare. If they have repentant heart, let them be returned back to God. Otherwise, pray and ask God to raise a standard against the wicked who seeks our lives. Pray the path of the wicked to be dark and slippery, with the angel of the Lord pursuing them. Pray their net/snare to be broken. Pray them to fall into the pit they dug against us to their ruin.

July 15, 2020

O Lord? You rescue the poor from those too strong for them Who is there like you, O Lord? “Then my soul will rejoice in the Lord and delight in his salvation. My whole being will exclaim, “Who is like you, O Lord? You rescue the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them.” (Ps.35: 9-10) If the Lord can make an end of our persecution and imprisonment, we would have seen such great joy and happiness. Pray and ask God to shorten the days of our persecution and imprisonment and to pronounce freedom of worship. Pray to see the days of great joy and happiness, our souls would say “who is there like you, O Lord”?

July 16, 2020

Deliver us from Ruthless witnesses :“Ruthless witnesses come forward; they question me on things I know nothing about. They repay me evil for good and leave my soul forlorn.” (Ps.35: 11-12) Oh Lord, unless you advocate on our behalf and stand as an accuser to our adversary, and as an accused person; then Ruthless witnesses come forward; they question us on things we know nothing about. They repay us evil for good and leave our soul forlorn. Pray and ask God and tell Him, Lord where can we go from you? Come to our aid as such a situation as this oh God we pray.

July 17, 2020

The Lord will be your confidence: “Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared”. (Pr 3:25-26)Those who are in the Lord, they will not have sudden disaster. As in Ps. 91:8 ‘They will only observe with their eyes and see the punishment of the wicked’. Pray and ask God to enable believers to apply this very word and keep this wisdom in our heart. Pray none of us to be overtaken by what we hear or see.

July 18, 2020

“Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back later; I’ll give it tomorrow” — when you now have it with you”. (Pr 3:27-28) Take this day to bring genuine repentance in the area you delayed to pay your debt, or you promised to give money and took time until the person who hoped to get it is tired. Search your personal life and find out the area you fail when it is in your power to act. We the Semitics understand very well what it mean vow. If you have vowed to pay either to God’s house, or to any ministry support, or to give to the needy and you fail, please bring genuine repentance and rectify.

July 19, 2020

Do not accuse a man for no reason: “Do not plot harm against your neighbor, who lives trustfully near you.  Do not accuse a man for no reason — when he has done you no harm”. (Pr 3:29-30) Pray and ask God to protect us from people who simply plot harm against us. Pray God to protect the Eritreans who live outside the country. There are people who accuse them and fight them without cause when they are peaceful. Pray for us God to protect us. Pray God to bless us and meet in every area of our needs. Pray God to give us people to work with this ministry and to bless us financially.

July 20, 2020

God takes the upright into his confidence: “Do not envy a violent man or choose any of his ways, for the Lord detests a perverse man but takes the upright into his confidence”. (Pr 3:31-32) Pray and give thanks to God because we have close friend Jesus who shares the secret of our hearts. Pray and ask God to remove a violent person and his ways from us. Pray God to enable us to remove a perverse person and his detestable practices from around us. Pray and ask God to take us as the upright people into his confidence.

July 21, 2020

God blesses the home of the righteous: “The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous. He mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble. The wise inherit honor, but fools he holds up to shame”. (Pr. 3:33-35) Pray and ask God that we as God’s righteous people God to bless our homes; as humble people God to give us enough grace, as wise people to enable us inherit honor. Pray God to remove curses, proud mockeries and shame from us, from our family members, from the pasture of our ministries. Pray God to return back every evil pronounces made against us to those who hate us without cause.

July 22, 2020

Knowing what is good; results to act justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God: “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God”.  (Mic 6:8-9)  Pray and ask God to make Eritrea to act justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with her God for this kind of obedience is what God expected from us. Forgive America, United Nations and Ethiopia for using Human Rights report for political gain at the cost of Eritrea and the people of Eritrea. Forgive and have mercy over those who went for demonstration in Ethiopia to stop the binding law from being actualized.

July 23, 2020

Great will be your children’s peace “All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be your children’s peace. In righteousness you will be established. Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear.  Terror will be far moved it will not come near you”. (Isa.54: 13-14; 8: 10).  Pray and ask God whoever rises against the Nation, the people, the house of the Lord, God to differ their languages, to frustrate their plans to bring their purposes to nothing. Pray that our children’s peace to be great and we may live calmly.

July 24, 2020

“No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you” “See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to work havoc; no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.” (Isa.54: 16-17) God has promised the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is our vindication from God our Lord. Pray and ask God to destroy every weapon that is fashioned against the nation, the people, the believers and the body of Christ. Pray every tongue that accuses them/us will be refuted in judgment by Eritrea, by the people of Eritrea and the belivers.

July 25, 2020

“Eat what is good and your soul will delight in the richest of fare”: “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, but and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.” (IsA.55: 1-2) Pray and ask God to draw near to him those who are of stiff necked, those of a hard heart and rebellious. Pray God to make them know the way of Salvation and God to pronounce mercy over them. Pray and ask God we Eritrean to be granted ears who would listen carefully, to be able to eat what is good and our souls to be delighted in the richest of fare.

July 26, 2020

All of God’s covenant aim at peace, “I will make a covenant of peace with them and rid the land of wild beasts so that they may live in the desert and sleep in the forests in safety.” (Eze.34: 25). Pray and ask God Christ’s peace to reign and rule over our nation.  Pray God to make an end of hostility that has been dangerous to our people. I am saying of the hostility against the nation from Ethiopia. Give thanks to the LORD for we prayed Ethiopia to remove its troops with no delay from Badme, from Zalambesa, from Tsorona, and from Ali Musa hills and God answered our prayers. Even though Ethiopia removed its troops our land is not yet at hand. Therefore, pray and as God our border line to be replaced in its place and our land to be back to our hand. Pray hostility against the Churches in Eritrea to come to an end. Pray and ask God to release apostolic teaching and the body of Christ to operate peacefully. Pray God to stop any demonstration to stop the border line from being actualized.

July 27, 2020

God’s blessings symbolized in the life-giving effects of rain

“I will bless them and the places surrounding my hill.  I will send down showers in season: there will be showers of blessing.” (Eze.34: 26). Pray and ask God for the showers of blessings be poured out so great upon the Nation of Eritrea. Pray for Spiritual blessings, Economical blessings – rain in season enough to plant and harvest. Pray for enter-acting with other nations whose products are not expensive. Pray for Political blessings–godly leaders who acknowledge God and fear Him and for social blessings-godly way not communism.

July 28, 2020

God breaks the bars of the wicked “The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land.  They will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them.” (Eze.34: 27). With what is happening between Ethiopia and Eritrea, the yokes of slavery – over demanding of National Services is about to be broken. I believe more than 2 years in National Servie is not going to happen again. Pray and ask God with thanks giving for coming through for us as a Nation. Remember those who are behind the bars, pray for their protection and release. Pray the family of the martyrs to be comforted if you knew them by name well and good.

July 29, 2020

From this day onwards we bear no scorn of the nations: “They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them.  They will live in safety and no one will make them afraid.  I will provide for them a land renowned for its crops, and they will no longer be victims of famine in the land or bear the scorn of the nations. (Eze.34: 28-29).  Pray and ask God these very promises to come to pass in our nation. Pray and ask God to provide plenty of crops every type of resources, refuse war, persecution, imprisonment and famine. Pray and refuse to be the scorn of other nations.

July 30, 2020

The people of Eritrea are God’s pasture: “Then they will know that I, the Lord their God, am with them and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, declares the Sovereign Lord. You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are people, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign Lord.” (Eze.34: 30-31). Pray and ask God the people of Eritrea to know their God, Him to be with them and the body of Christ.  Pray and ask God the people of Eritrea to be part of God’s pasture, to know God and to make him known.

July 31, 2020

Pray for Israel: “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land”. “They think the dreams they tell one another will make my people forget my name through Baal worship” (Jer.23: 5, 27). As you know the Jews believe in the Old Testament law. Pray and ask God that the Messiah who is righteous would reign and rule. Pray Him to bring justice in the land of Israel and Eritrea.  Pray and ask God to convict of their sins, those who worship Baal, (angels, and human being).  Pray that they would remember and accept the True God the creator of the universe who is Jesus Christ. Amen!

A word of blessings to everyone who is committed to pray with us uses this prayer guide for Eritrea.

“May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; May he … protect you, May he send you help from his sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings. May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.  … May the LORD grant all your requests … O LORD … Answer us when we call!  In the Name of the LORD Jesus Christ we Pray and believe. AMEN!!! (Ps.20: 1-9).
