PRAYER GUIDE FOR ERITREA APRIL, 2021

“…. those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” Rom.8: 14

 HOME EVANGELISM AND PRAYER FOR

FOREIGNERS IN KENYA AND BEYOND

Thanks for your appreciation about Tgrigna prayer guide. I greet you in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and thanks for every information and prayers. Believe every prayer you prayed is a prayer of faith. The more the nearer the victory the more we pray so I am more pressing on to pass these prayer guide as to continue sharing the burdens of our nation Eritrea. “Arise, shine, Eritrea for your light has come and the glory of the LORD rises upon you”. Isa.60:1-2. Give thanks for Eritrea. The restoration of our nation and the body of Christ is more near than ever. Pray for every family member, society, the body of Christ and the nation as a whole. Eritrea needs prayers the spirit of communism is operating in our land. Pray for those who are in exile (the dry bones in the valley) the Holy Spirit may sweep over their life in prayer, every curse of struggle to be broken from their life and Idolatry to be rooted out from Eritrea. Starting from colonialists up to now Eritrea encountered difficulties, our gold, bronze, telephone cable, electrical atmospheric transporter, companies, and individual’s properties, among others were taken. (Please get information on the internet and go to UN/US Sanctions on Eritrea Latest Chapter in a Long History of Injustice)   Pray for godly leadership in Eritrea, pray for restoration and seasonal rain not hailstone and plenty to be within the boundary. Refuse war, declare peace, demarcation of the border between Ethiopia and Eritrea, was done in the month of November, 2007 To God be the Glory. According to our president during ESAT interview on February, 2015, the old demarcation remains. There will be no new demarcation. But the fresh news on June 5, 2018 the Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed announced that Ethiopia will abide with the Cardinal Law that was signed in Algiers without any condition. In reply to that President Isaias Afewerki said; on June 20, 2018, Eritrea will send delegates for peace talks. They agreed to end the matter in peace. Eritrea and Ethiopia agreed to remove their troops from the border and they are out of both sides. In the month of August 17, 2009 Eritrea is given a fine to pay USD10 million to Ethiopia. Remember the UN delegates had a meeting with Eritrean Officials on 2013 at Austria concerning land locked countries to access the sea. Now both agreed to open access to the Sea, rail ways, and road and air transport. Ethiopia refused to abide with the binding Cardinal Law they signed at Algiers before but now they responded positively. Pray for restoration, restitution, of everything, we had and we lost either by Ethiopia, or by the colonialist’s time claim everything back to Eritrea. Remember the Eritrean whose bank account was freeze and their properties were destroyed or handed over to individuals. They do not know how to get their properties back. Some of them their properties are taken by individuals. It has been expected all the properties of all Eritrean to be return back to them by October, 2019, but still nothing is done. Ethiopians are vandalizing Eritrean properties in Badme. Pray God to vacate Ethiopians from the disputed land. The land is not yet given to Eritrea.

Pray and ask for God’s mercy and bring genuine repentance at all level. “For this is what the LORD says:- he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited- he says: –  “I am the LORD, and there is no other” Isa. 45:  18;

Bring thanks giving for Eritrea, for the Lord our God had created it to be inhabited by the very own people of Eritrea and never remained desolate for God had mercy upon us and he ordained our boundary set for us. (Act.17: 26).

Do not make idols for I am the LORD your God. 1”Do not make idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for yourselves, and do not place a carved stone in your land to bow down before it. I am the LORD your God. 2 ‘Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the LORD.” (Lev. 26: 1-2) Pray and ask God, the people of Eritrea to know their God and worship him alone. Pray God to remove idols; set up images; placed carved and sacred stones for worship.

April 2, 2021

I will send you rain in its season: 3“‘If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, 4 I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit.”  (Lev. 26: 3-4) Obedience is better than sacrifice. Pray and ask God, the people of Eritrea to have the fear of the Lord, to obey God and as a result to pronounce their blessings. Pray for rain in season, to plant and harvest plenty of grain, and tree fruits within the boundary set.

April 3, 2021

You live in safety in your land 5 “Your threshing will continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and you will eat all the food you want and live in safety in your land.” (Lev. 26: 5) Pray and ask God the people of Eritrea to know the blessings of obedience and to bring genuine repentance before the Lord. Pray just as God promised our threshing to continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest to continue until planting, us to eat all the food we wanted and live in safety in our land. Pray as we obey his word his blessings to be poured out for us.

April 4, 2021

I will remove wild beasts from the land  6 “‘I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country.” (Lev. 26: 6) The Orthodox priests keep hunting believers from the Evangelical Churches every year they are on fasting before Easter time. As a result people are going out of the country for safety. Pray and ask God to grant us peace in our land; without fear to enable us lie down. Pray God to remove wild beasts from the land and sword never to pass through our country. Pray and ask God that the fight in Ethiopia to come to an end and peace to be pronounced.

April 5, 2021

I will remove wild beasts from the land 7 “You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you.” (Lev. 26: 7) Pray and ask the Lord to remove those who pronounce destruction over Eritrea and over the people in the land and even over the Churches. Pray them to know God and be arrested to Jesus.

April 6, 2021

I will remove wild beasts from the land 8 “Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you.” (Lev. 26: 8) “For our struggle is not with flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Eph. 6: 12) Pray and ask God to arm us with the full armor of God. Pray and ask God to chase out every wicked powers of the enemy from north to south, from east to west, from within the country and those who operate in the realms.

April 7, 2021

I will keep my covenant with you 9 “I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you.” (Lev. 26: 9) Do not look at the passing temporary dark cloud that is hovering over Eritrea. Pray and ask God to remove the spirit that is displacing people from the land. Pray and ask God to look on us with favor and make us fruitful and increase our numbers and to keep his covenant with us. Pray and ask God for the Eritrean who are at the Ethiopian refugee camp. Pray the Eritrea refugees to come out of the camp because the Ethiopian militia are raping women.

April 8, 2021

Granaries that re made of metal are needed: 10 “You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new.” (Lev. 26: 10) Let us know the blessings of obedience. Pray and ask God to shower his blessings over each and every Eritrean. Pray to have plenty until we lack enough rooms of storehouses. Pray that we reach to look for storehouses made up of metals that we lock it outside our house. Pray we harvest plenty and for the sake of the new grain we use the old grain for sale to neighboring countries.

April 9, 2021

Let our lives to be a dwelling place God’s Spirit.11 “I will put my dwelling place among you, and I will not abhor you.” (Lev. 26: 11). Pray and ask God to live with a clean life in the Lord. Pray our lives to be a dwelling place God’s Spirit. Pray and ask God to remove any abominable things from us, and our people. Pray that our youth will not be exposed to prostitution with foreigners.

April 10, 2021

Let our lives to be a dwelling place God’s Spirit. 12 “I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people.” (Lev. 26: 12)This very word to be accomplished needs only those who are complete in God. Pray and ask God as the people of the most high to be more pleasant to God and his will.

April 11, 2021

God is telling us I broke the bars of your yoke. 13 “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high.” (Lev. 26: 13) Pray and ask God to enable you count the privilege of liberation the Lord has given us. Pray and bring thanks giving to God. Thank him for he has called us in his name; he pronounced salvation over us; when we call his Name he hears us; and he delivered us of the slavery of sin, so give thanks to Him.

April 12, 2021

We should not forget that in persecution we are sharing Christ’s affliction.  31 “Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: ” ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered. 32 But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.” (Matth.26: 31-32) Let us examine our lives; let us not be called Christians only when we are comfortable. When persecution takes place our lot and where we belong is more magnified to others. Pray and ask God for the closed Churches in Eritrea and bring them before the Lord in prayer. Pray and ask God for the Church leaders who are imprisoned God to make a way for them to be released. Many of them are release on bail on the ground of CORONA VIRUS. And many others are still in prison either they do not have a guarantee for bail or for reasons we do not know. Therefore, we pray and ask God to make a way and without any condition to release them. Do not forget that they are sharing Christ’s affliction, as they will share with him in His glory.

April 13, 2021

Let God enable them through it all that the faith of the believers will not to be tempted. 33 “Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.” 34 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.” 35 But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.”  (Matth. 26: 33-35) Pray and ask God the faith of the believers not to be tempted. Pray God to enable them to pass through all kinds of circumstances. Just like Peter and his disciples, one way or the other we may all swear. Words of mouth cannot help us. Pray and ask God to enable us to stand on our faith and God to give us his Grace abundantly.

April 14, 2021

How many people became Judas to us? 47“While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people.” (Matth. 26: 47) How many people became Judas to us? Whatever happened it is not outside of the will of God. For Judas it is for his end, while for us it is God’s glory to be revealed. Pray and ask God to shorten the days of persecution. Pray and ask God our Lord for he answers to us.  For how long can we be persecuted? For how long can the Churches remain closed and no freedom of worship?

April 15, 2021

How many people became Judas to us? 48 “Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The one I kiss is the man; arrest him.” 49 Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed him. 50 Jesus replied, “Friend, do what you came for.” Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him”. (Matth. 26: 48-49) Pray and ask God for those who handed over believer to be imprisoned. If they had known what they do they would have not done it. Pray and pronounce mercy over their lives and they have not known this: waging over to shed innocent blood it pronounces curses and condemnation against them. What the enemy is using systematically, to displace people from their areas in Eritrea is hurting. Pray the spirit behind all these to vanish.

April 16, 2021

Some of us our hands are faster than the talk of our mouth. 51 “With that, one of Jesus’ companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear. 52 “Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.” (Matth. 26: 51-52) Some of us our hands are faster than the talk of our mouth. Our fight is not with flesh and blood. Our might is the more powerful and of a great authority our Lord is our might. Pray and ask God to help us understand that our reward and vengeance comes from the Lord for his power is greater and mightier.

April 17, 2021

Let God give us patience in persecution. 53“Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?” (Matth. 26: 53-54) We are not better than our Lord. There is no gain by making many accusations, by emotions, and violence. Pray and ask God to give us patience, knowing that Satan is defeated. Pray God to make us patient for these short days of persecution. Pray God to enable us win through goodness and the love of Christ. Pray for the Eritrean leaders. There is no peace that comes from fight.

April 18, 2021

When we are persecuted how many friends and family members had left us? 55 “In that hour Jesus said to the crowd, “Am I leading a rebellion that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I sat in the temple courts teaching, and you did not arrest me. 56 But this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples deserted him and fled.” (Matth. 26: 55-56) When we are persecuted because of our faith many friends and family members had deserted us. Now the days of persecution are getting finished. Pray and ask God to pronounce forgiveness and the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ over those who persecuted us. Many marriages are continuously divorcing. Children are left in either the father’s side or the mother’s side. The falling aside of marriages symbolizes the fall of the foundation of the nation. Pray and ask God those who are grown up and young who are getting married to know the value and the glory of marriage. Pray for those marriage that has been broken during persecution for them to reconcile with each other. Let no one point on each other’s fault. Let them see their own faults before the LORD and repent.

April 19, 2021

Because of our sins a crown of thorns were set on the head of Our Lord Jesus. 27 “Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company of soldiers around him.  28 They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, 29 and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand and knelt in front of him and mocked him. Hail, king of the Jews! They said.  30 They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again. 31 After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him.  Then they led him away to crucify him.” (Matth. 27: 27-31) On our behalf the twisted together a crown of thorns was set on the head of Our Lord Jesus. Because of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, there is nothing that has been done in the world like the persecution in Eritrea today. Pray and ask God the governor’s soldiers who are harassing believers in Eritrea to be arrested to the one whom they are persecuting Jesus Christ.

April 20, 2021

As believers we have been mocked, despised and insulted. 38 “Two robbers were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left. 39 Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads 40 and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!” (Matth. 27: 38-40) As believers we have been mocked, despised, insulted, by those who do not know shame of their filthy talks, because there are controlled by the evil spirit. Pray and ask God from these people the evil spirit to come out of them in the Name of Jesus Christ.

April 21, 2021

The death of Jesus brought us life. 45 “From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land. 46About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice. “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabnachthani? –which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” 47 When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.” 48 Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge.  He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a stick, and offered it to Jesus to drink. 49 The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.” 50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.” (Matth. 27: 45-50) The death of Jesus was to give us life. We give thanks to the Lord for Christ is the mediator of a new covenant. Pray and ask God with thanks giving, with hymns, and melodies for the perfect priest has offered the perfect sacrifice atoning for sin once for all and he blotted out the written code of our debts.

April 22, 2021

Christ is risen. He is alive. 51 “At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.  The earth shook and the rocks split. 52 The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53 They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus’ resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.” (Matth. 27: 51-53) We give all the praises to the Lord for the tearing of the curtain signified Christ’s making it possible for us believers to go directly into God’s presence (Heb. 9:1-14; 10: 14-22) Pray and Praise God for Christ is risen. He is alive. Therefore his resurrection needs to be celebrated in a great way. This ministry reminds you to glorify the Lord in the day of his resurrection.

April 23, 2021

“Surely he was the Son of God!” 54 “When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!” 55 Many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to care for his needs. 56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.” (Matth. 27: 54-56) Pray and ask God those who lead the earthly government by the time they understand the kingdom of God that will fear God and worship him.

April 24, 2021

Christ is risen. He is alive. 1 “After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.  2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.”  (Matth.28: 1-2) Pray and give Glory to the Most High God. The tomb is empty. Christ has risen.  He is alive and we too are alive with him. Therefore, pronounce resurrection and life over every area you had no hope.  In the national service speak life. In farming and harvesting speak good and plenty to be harvested. In the need of rain in season speak enough rain to enable us plant and harvest plenty. In the need of health and peace likewise speak healing and peace.  In the cracked marriage issues speak reconciliation. In every aspect of your needs speak out resurrection and life. Remember those who suffer from HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Ulcer, High Blood Pressure, pronounce resurrection and life in their bodies.

April 25, 2021

The resurrection of Jesus Christ cannot be denied. 3“His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.”  (Matth.28: 3-4) The resurrection of Our Lord Jesus is evident. The enemy was swallowed in fear and shock. Pray and ask God those who deny Christ and do not walk with him their eyes to see him and know that he has mercy on them and draw near to him.

April 26, 2021

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. 5 “The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” (Matth.28: 5-6) During this resurrection month pray and ask God to use you to strengthen the feeble knees, and hands that gives way, to encourage the weak to lift them up with the word of encouragement.

April 27, 2021

Go quickly and tell his disciples that He is risen from the dead: 7 “Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” (Matth. 28: 7) The resurrection of the Lord Jesus is for us to preach his resurrection not to shut our mouth. Pray and ask God this very month to enable us preach the gospel of his resurrection and win souls to Him.

April 28, 2021

They went quickly to tell his disciples that He is risen from the dead: 8“So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.” (Matth.28: 8) Pray and ask God you the one who receive this prayer guide for Eritrea, to be used of the Lord. Begin to tell about Jesus. Invite a brother and a sister to the Lord and say Jesus is alive he is risen pronounce salvation as you pray.

April 29, 2021

Suddenly Jesus met them. 9 “Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.”  (Matthew 28: 9) Pray and ask God for those who come to the Lord. Pray them to worship the Lord full heartedly.

April 30, 2021

Oh Israel tell the gospel without fear: 10 “Then Jesus said to them.”  Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.” (Matth.28: 10) Pray for Israel. Pray and ask God to enable the Israeli to speak the gospel without fear, with wisdom and God’s guidance. Pray to enable them to win souls to Him. Pray for the Palestinians with the love of Christ to hear the gospel of his resurrection. In the eyes of God they are as precious as the Israelis.

A word of blessings to everyone who is committed to pray with us uses this prayer guide for Eritrea.

“May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; May he … protect you, May he send you help from his sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings. May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.  … May the LORD grant all your requests … O LORD … Answer us when we call!  In the Name of the LORD Jesus Christ we Pray and believe. AMEN!!! (Ps.20: 1-9).

REMEMBER:-
